YOUR LICENCE
One person · two Windows computers. Atlas checks the licence online and can keep working offline for up to seven days after a successful check. This does not include AI or voice-provider fees.
Your computers
Release a computer before moving to a new one. It may keep working offline until its seven-day check expires.
Install Atlas
Included in Version 1: the voice/transcription setup repair and colour changes that save immediately unless you explicitly ask for a preview.
- Download and save. Click Download for Windows, wait for verification, then Save verified installer. The file is Atlas-UI-Setup-1.0.6.exe. No ZIP or extracting is needed.
- Run the installer. Open the saved file and follow the steps. Create desktop shortcut is already ticked. No administrator access is needed. This installer is not yet publisher-signed; Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning. Only continue if you recognise this Atlas download; do not disable Windows protection.
- Activate Atlas. Open Atlas UI and paste the ATLAS-… licence key from your private message. Keep it separate from any AI API key.
- Connect your AI. Choose ChatGPT and sign in in your browser, then return to Atlas. The required connection software is included. Or choose DeepSeek only and save your own DeepSeek API key.
- Meet your Atlas. After your AI connection is ready, Atlas opens and the tutorial starts. New users begin with a fresh workspace. Reinstalling preserves your existing saved work.
If updating an earlier Atlas UI installation, quit it from the system tray before running setup. Your personal Atlas and Product Atlas Test are separate.
Download the installer directly if the verified download cannot finish. This uses your browser’s download manager and supports resuming.

Billing and licence updates.
Version 1.0.6 adds monthly billing and renewal checks. Once-off licences keep their existing access. Your conversations, Brain, backgrounds, connections and saved work stay in place.
Download the Version 1.0.6 update · for the official Version 1.0.x installation.
- Save Atlas-UI-1.0.6.atlasupdate. Keep the file as downloaded; do not unzip it.
- In Atlas, open Settings → Help & advanced → Updates & repair.
- Leave that update window open, then quit Atlas from its icon beside the Windows clock.
- Click Choose update / repair file and select the downloaded file. Atlas checks it before applying it.
- Open Atlas again. Your existing licence is checked automatically.
The update does not create a desktop shortcut if you chose not to have one. If you are using an older beta, or prefer the simplest option, run the latest installer above instead; it preserves your saved work. Your personal Atlas and Product Atlas Test are separate.
Lost your licence key?
Replacing the key makes the old key unusable and releases both computers. You will need to activate them again.

Help without the guesswork.
If Atlas shows an error, send support the error code and a short description of what you were doing. The app’s “Save support report” button creates a report without chats, passwords or API keys.

Use ChatGPT, DeepSeek, or both. ChatGPT uses your own sign-in; DeepSeek uses your own API key and separate provider billing. Some connected-app features require ChatGPT and the relevant plugin setup. Claude support and Atlas for Mac are coming soon.
Your download email and AI account email can be different. Never send passwords or API keys to support.
