Is Atlas another AI model?

Atlas is your personal interface for AI. Connect ChatGPT, DeepSeek or both, then bring your files, conversations and tools together in a Windows app you can make your own. Your chosen AI supplies the intelligence. Atlas gives it a place in your everyday life, with workspaces, memory and controls that stay close at hand.

What is included in Atlas?

Your Windows edition includes customisable workspaces, Atlas Brain, Wisp, Inspector, voice and text controls, tasks, Gallery, Usage and Website Studio Beta. There is a guided interface tour, followed by a setup checklist. Official updates are included while we maintain Atlas. AI accounts, API credits, optional ElevenLabs voice and paid third-party services are separate.

Can I use Atlas without speaking?

Absolutely. Type your requests and read the replies. Speaking and microphone transcription are optional, so you can start without ElevenLabs and connect it later. The recorded tour also has readable captions. Choose the way that suits you, whether that is a quiet desk, a shared office or a conversation with Atlas.

Which computers can run Atlas?

This release is for 64-bit Windows PCs. It does not include a Mac, phone or native Windows ARM installer. Online AI features need internet access and a supported AI connection. A microphone is optional. Check the current download page for compatibility and storage guidance, especially if your computer is older or has limited free space.

Your AI connections

Can I start with only ChatGPT or only DeepSeek?

Yes. Either connection can be your starting point. Sign in to an eligible ChatGPT account, or add your own DeepSeek API key. Both can help with conversation, writing, workspace controls, supported file tools and Website Studio. Their connected services and advanced capabilities differ. Add both when you want Atlas Auto to choose between the connections you have available.

Can DeepSeek do everything that ChatGPT can in Atlas?

They share many Atlas tools, but they are not identical. DeepSeek can work with your workspace, files and static website code. It does not inherit ChatGPT's connected apps, image generation or advanced code execution in this release. Some website reading is available through paired Chrome. Atlas can only use the models, tools and permissions your own connections actually provide.

How do I connect email, other apps or Chrome?

For a supported ChatGPT app, connect it in the same ChatGPT account you use with Atlas, then refresh connected services in Atlas. Signing in alone does not connect your mailbox or every plugin. Chrome reading needs the matching Atlas Chrome extension paired with your Atlas profile. The setup checklist gives you the steps. Availability depends on the service, permissions and supported tools.

What does Atlas Auto do?

Atlas Auto chooses a suitable supported route from the AI connections you have configured. It can bring ChatGPT and DeepSeek together, while you can still select a model yourself. It does not unlock missing accounts or guarantee a particular saving. A more complex request may use more resources, so check Usage and your provider's own account information.

Setup & voice

Do I need to be technical to set Atlas up?

You do not need to code. Run the installer, activate your licence, then connect ChatGPT or choose DeepSeek before entering the app. Atlas takes you on a guided tour of the interface. Afterwards, a setup checklist brings the connection steps, useful links and private key fields together. Optional connections can wait, and you can return to unfinished steps later.

How do I set up ElevenLabs for speaking and transcription?

Create an ElevenLabs API key with Text to Speech and Speech to Text access, and make sure the account has available credits. Save it in the private ElevenLabs field in Atlas's setup checklist. Choose your microphone, speaker and an available voice, then test a spoken reply and a short recording separately. A Voice ID is not an API key. Keep your key out of chat.

Atlas can speak, but my microphone will not transcribe. Why?

Speaking and transcription use different ElevenLabs permissions. Check Speech to Text access, the selected microphone and Windows microphone permission for desktop apps. Save the current key, record a short sentence, then stop the recording to transcribe. Also check provider credits, key limits and the exact error. A connection failure does not always mean the key is wrong. Use the latest official Atlas update if the problem continues.

Do I need to raise a 12,000-credit limit?

There is no single required credit limit for everyone. ElevenLabs has an account balance, and a key can have its own limit. Atlas also has a local speech limit. Increasing one does not add credits to another or fix missing transcription permission. Read the error, check which limit has been reached, and choose a budget you are comfortable with before testing again.

Can I choose a different voice?

Yes. In Voice and sound, choose an available companion voice or add a custom ElevenLabs Voice ID that your account can use. Save the voice before testing it. Flash version two point five is the recommended starting model in Atlas. Live voice tests use your ElevenLabs credits. Recorded tutorials and introductions keep their own recorded voice.

Are AI and voice credits included in the purchase?

The Atlas price covers your interface, not unlimited AI or voice usage. ChatGPT access, DeepSeek API usage, optional ElevenLabs speech and paid external tools follow their own plans and charges. You control which services to connect. Playing a recorded website answer or the recorded Atlas tour does not make a new voice-generation request on your account.

Everyday Atlas

Do I need a workspace for every file or project?

No. One workspace can hold many folders, files, properties, clients or ideas. Use separate workspaces when you want a different context, such as personal life, a business or creative work. Each has its own Brain and appearance. You decide how much belongs together; a workspace is not limited to one document or one small task.

What does Atlas Brain remember? Can it read scanned PDFs?

Brain brings together the files, folders, saved conversations and memory for the selected workspace. Ask Atlas to find or work with the material you have added. Clear scanned PDFs can use local Windows text recognition, with supported languages installed. Difficult scans and handwriting can still need checking. Brain is not automatic access to every file on your computer or all your past ChatGPT chats.

Can I change the colours, backgrounds and interface?

Yes. Choose orb, primary and accent colours, plus a dark interface colour that keeps text readable. Add backgrounds and give different workspaces their own atmosphere. Ask Atlas by voice or text to change supported colours and settings, or use the controls yourself. Your Atlas can feel professional, peaceful, playful or futuristic. It does not have to stay blue.

Are the workspace previews the real Atlas interface?

The workspace and Brain previews use the actual Atlas interface styles and orb, with prepared example content. The Style Gallery also shows captured app examples. They help you explore how Atlas can look without accessing your computer or AI account. Feature illustrations are artwork, and the examples are not your own files or a live AI session.

Can I download a gallery look as a theme?

The Style Gallery is a place to explore colours and workspace examples; it does not install a theme into your app. Atlas includes its official backgrounds, and you can use your own images and colours. Start with an example you like, then make the workspace feel like yours using the appearance controls or a request to Atlas.

Does Inspector watch everything I do?

No. You choose the area you want Inspector to use. Live takes a fresh snapshot when you submit a request; Freeze keeps the selected view. It is not continuous AI analysis of your screen. Ask for an explanation or a draft reply, for example. Image understanding depends on the selected model, and submitted content may remain in your connected service's conversation.

What can I ask Wisp to do?

Wisp is your companion inside Atlas. Ask for help with the current workspace, find a saved file, revise a draft or change supported interface settings. You can use voice or text. For example, ask to switch workspaces or change the interface to dark purple. What Wisp can do depends on the AI and tools you have connected, just like the main conversation.

What does the Usage section show?

Usage brings together available information about individual prompts, AI providers, voice usage and reset times. Some connections report more detail than others, so a missing figure is not proof that a request was free. Your provider's account remains the place to confirm charges and balances. Atlas Auto can help select a route, but it does not promise unlimited usage or a fixed saving.

What can Website Studio Beta do?

Website Studio can create and preview static HTML sites with either ChatGPT or DeepSeek. You can ask for revisions, keep working on the design and export files through Gallery. Polish with GPT needs a ChatGPT connection and an available model. This is a beta feature. Public hosting, shareable hosted review links and a complete production website backend are not included.

Where do my files, memory and keys go?

Your workspaces and saved material live on your computer, but content you submit for an AI request goes to the connected service needed to answer it. That can include selected files, screen content or audio. API keys belong in Atlas's private connection fields, not in conversations or shared screenshots. Choose what you share, review provider policies and keep backups of important work.

Purchase & updates

What does Atlas cost?

Atlas Monthly costs US$7 a month. At checkout, Atlas converts US$7 to South African rand and shows you the amount before you pay. It converts the price again at each renewal, so your rand charge can change. The regular once-off price is US$29. AI and optional voice services are billed separately.

Compare plans
How do monthly and once-off licences differ?

With Atlas Monthly, US$7 is converted to rand each month until you cancel. With a once-off licence, you pay once and keep access without a recurring Atlas fee. Both give you the same Windows app and include official updates while we maintain Atlas. Monthly access continues through each paid period.

Compare plans
How do I cancel monthly renewal?

Sign in to My Account with your purchase email, open your monthly licence and choose Cancel renewal. Confirm your choice. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Your workspaces and files stay on your computer.

What if a monthly payment fails?

If your paid period ends before a renewal succeeds, Atlas pauses monthly access. Your work stays on your computer. Open My Account to check the missed payment and pay the outstanding renewal. Once the payment is verified, Atlas can restore access on your existing licence.

How does the once-off launch offer work?

The public launch offer is US$19 for a once-off licence until 3 November 2026 at 23:59 South African time. After that, the regular once-off price is US$29. This promotion applies only to the once-off option. Check the Download page for your current price.

How do I install updates?

When Atlas finds an update, open Settings, then Help and advanced. Read what’s new, choose Download and install, and restart Atlas when prompted. You can dismiss a notification and come back later. You can also get the update from My Account.

Will an update remove my files, settings or memories?

The official updater is designed to replace Atlas's app files while preserving your profile, workspaces, backgrounds and saved material. Follow the instructions for your installed version and close Atlas when asked. Keep a backup of important work, and do not uninstall or delete your profile just to apply a normal update. If a release needs anything different, its instructions should explain it.

What happens after I purchase Atlas?

Once Paystack confirms payment, Atlas emails your licence and download instructions. Sign in to My Account with the email you used at checkout, then download the Windows installer. Run it on your Windows PC, activate Atlas with your licence key and connect your AI.

What if setup, activation or delivery does not work?

Start with the relevant step in Atlas's setup checklist and read the exact error. For a missing purchase email, check spam and the address used at checkout. If you still need help, contact Atlas support with your app version, the step that failed and a screenshot with private information hidden. Never send an API key or password. Purchase and refund questions are covered on the support and policy pages.

Where can I see what is new or planned?

Visit the Updates page for official release information and download guidance. Features labelled Beta may change as we improve them. Future providers, platforms and extra features are not guaranteed unless we announce them as included. Buy Atlas for what is available in the Windows edition today, with official updates included while we maintain it.
